Student’s book report gets classroom excited!
Corey Willis (age 6) wanted to add some life into his upcoming book report, so he used his favorite subject, Choi Kwang Do!
When asked to choose a book report Corey picked the topic of martial arts but he did not give an ordinary report. Corey did not just come in a give the normal read it off your paper report, instead he brought in his father Chris (Choi Kwang Do Yellow Sr. Belt and Law Enforcement officer), an air shield, a blocker and focus mitt and gave the class a real show. They wore their Choi Kwang Do uniforms and belts and Corey demonstrated different blocks, kicks and punches with the help of his dad. Not only did Corey feel good about their demonstration and his book report, the rest of the class was really impressed by his hands on book report! This project really brought Corey and his family together, It is really great to see Choi Kwang Do bridge not only the parent/child gap but also the home/school gap. Below are some pictures from Corey's report
Corey received an A++++ grade on his report!!! Pil Sung to the Willis family for a job well done.
