Shelia was born in Cartersville, Ga. After working at Lockheed Martin for several years, she decided to follow her dream to become a Nurse. After graduating from Nurses School in Rome, Ga., she accepted a Nursing position with Wellstar Kennestone in Woodstock in 2005. Shelia became interested in CKD after her sons, Jim and Gary started training in June, 2006. Shelia enrolled in August and progressed nicely becoming an Assistant Instructor in April, 2007. Shelia is also CPR certified as part of her Nursing duties. Her husband, Don, started training in April, 2007 and is currently certified as an Assistant Instructor. Shelia enjoys reading, Florida vacations in the sun and relaxing at home when she is not at CKD training.
